It's loosely based on the old GBA game Reshef of Destruction but it has updated cards and gameplay, thank god and a bit of a different storyline.
In it, a guy named Nero is possessed by the evil spirit of Reshef who wants nothing more than to steal the power of the Egyptian Gods, resurrect the "Dark Being" and reshape the world into his own kingdom of course by defeating the Pharaoh. He brainwashes Rex, Weevil, and Mai, and releases Noah from his cyber prison, and gives them each a new card to help them defeat their rivals: Joey, Yugi, and Kaiba.
